Backoffice - Products
Automatically save product match mappings in receive
When receiving an inventory item that you’ve received before, Dutchie POS will automatically match it to the same Catalog product as the last time you received it, while still giving you the option to assign a different product. This feature was previously announced in September 2023 but was rolled back to address customer feedback.
Taxed price preview upgrades
Locations that have enabled taxed price previews will see a more detailed price and tax breakdown on product and inventory detail pages.
We’re making it clearer which of your prices are saved and stored for in-store price calculation, and which fields are previews of the prices with or without taxes.
We’re adding a new, collapsible tax breakdown section, replacing the existing tooltip to make it easier to read and understand the estimated taxes for each product.
This is a design improvement only and does not change how pricing or taxes are calculated.
Before:
After:
Previews will look different depending on the following configurations:
Single pricing vs. dual pricing (i.e., same or separate pricing for rec and med customers)
Whether tax-inclusive/”out-the-door” pricing is enabled
Enabled customer types (rec + med vs. med-only or rec-only)
Dutchie Pay
Next-day settlement
Dutchie Pay retailers will receive deposits into their bank accounts as soon as the following business day for the entire previous day’s sales. This will eliminate the need to reconcile against a 6pm ET cutoff time and can instead reconcile against all sales processed from midnight to midnight local time.
Faster settlements result in faster deposits, which can help you maintain smooth business operations and mitigate potential financial hardships. Faster settlements will also result in your customers' transactions being presented for payment sooner, on or after the purchase date.
We began rolling out next-day settlement earlier this month and plan to implement this change for all Dutchie Pay retailers by March 8.
Note: Weekends and federal holidays are not considered business days when it comes to ACH processing.
Savings accounts can now be linked to Dutchie Pay!
When consumers register for Dutchie Pay and enter their online banking credentials, they can choose to link their checking or savings account. Note that consumers can only link one bank account to Dutchie Pay.
Traceability
Colorado: This release adds support for extended count patient equivalency calculations.
Michigan: With this release, expiration dates will be sent to Metrc upon package creation for all cannabis product categories.
Fixes
Backoffice - Reports
The Monthly snapshot tab in Reports > Overview has been pulling 31 days of data regardless of how many days are in the selected month. This release includes a fix to ensure correct data is shown for months that are less than 31 days.
Backoffice - Inventory
The Packaging date, Manufacturing date, and Expiration date on a package may be offset by one day after an internal transfer. This fix prevents these dates from changing unless changed by a user.
Filters applied to the Inventory list are cleared when users start typing into the search bar. This fix maintains the filters and restores the ability to search a pre-filtered list.
Payments
Dutchie Hub integrated payment and Dutchie POS receipts are combined into one long receipt when printed from an Epson receipt printer. A fix to make these receipts print separately is scheduled for release on February 29.
