Dutchie POS 1.159: Updated expiration date settings; fixes
Projected release dates: 9/22/25-9/25/25. Subject to change.
Enhancements
Settings
On September 3, we announced a new On Receive, default expiration date to 1 year from current date option in Settings > Location.
In response to customer feedback, this setting’s name will change to On Receive, default expiration date with calculated value, with different functionality:
When enabled (default)
Expiration dates are calculated by adding the number of days in the Expiration Days field in the Catalog to the current date.
If Expiration Days is null,
In Metrc markets, expiration dates populate based on the Metrc integration setting Transfer Expiration Date:
Expiration Date from Metrc
One year from current date
Lab Test Result Expiration Date
In non-Metrc markets, expiration dates must be entered manually.
When disabled:
In Metrc markets, expiration dates populate based on the Metrc integration setting Transfer Expiration Date.
In non-Metrc markets, expiration dates must be entered manually.
Fixes
This release includes fixes for the following issues:
When receiving inventory, expiration and packaging dates may not be preserved when saving an order.
“Error saving email template” or “Someone else has modified this template. Please reload and try again” errors when updating email campaign templates.
Illinois: When an item’s Rec Flower Equivalency value is null, the allotment shown in the Register incorrectly uses the Med Flower Equivalency value as a fallback when it should instead use the Grams/concentration value.
Searching the Inventory page in the Backoffice causes long delays or timeouts on some servers.
