Dutchie POS 1.59
Projected release dates: 7/10/23-7/14/23
Enhancements
Register - Cart
Back by popular demand: We heard your feedback and we’re rolling back the cart design changes that we launched last month and restoring the ability to remove discounts with one click.
Specific, unified payment error messages across platforms: When Dutchie Pay or integrated PIN debit payments can’t be completed, users will see more informative and specific error messages. This will allow users and Dutchie Support agents to better understand payment issues and more quickly resolve them. These error messages will also use the same wording in Dutchie POS, Dutchie Ecommerce, and the Mobile Checkout app.
Register - Guest search
Guest list search terms to persist on the results page: Currently when users search for a guest on the Guest list page, the search results are shown on the Guests page with the search terms no longer present. If users want to narrow search results they need to re-enter their search terms. With this update, the search terms will persist on the Guests page.
Fixes
Register - Cart
Certain items in a fulfillment cart are showing incorrect discounts, but are adjusted to the correct discount once a package is assigned. This version includes a fix to ensure accurate pricing is reflected in both the fulfillment cart and once the package has been assigned.
The register may enforce daily allotments based on Eastern time for all time zones. For example, if a customer in the Pacific time zone makes a purchase in the morning and then another purchase after 9 pm Pacific/12 am Eastern, the second sale is incorrectly counted against the next day’s allotment. This fix will ensure accurate enforcement of daily allotments based on your local time zone.
Backoffice - Settings
Admins have been unable to change a user profile to inactive status when the user is associated with an inactive LSP. This fix will allow admins to update these user profiles.
Backoffice - Products
Invoices viewed in the Backoffice under Products > Manifests may differ from their printed versions due to incorrect rounding to two decimal points on the printed version. This update corrects the printed version to reflect the more precise amounts in the Backoffice version.
Other announcements
New look and feel for Mobile Checkout: Starting next week, delivery drivers will see updated Dutchie branding in the Mobile Checkout app with the same user experience and functionality as before.
Previously, when you enabled the Metrc integration setting Use Metrc Lab Data, the related setting Default Metrc Labs in Receive was disabled by default. On June 22 we changed this behavior so that Default Metrc Labs in Receive is enabled by default when you enable Use Metrc Lab Data. Regardless of this setting, you can always choose whether to import lab results for individual packages, and this does not change your pre-existing settings. Learn more in the Help Center.
In a previous update, the redundant Distributed Among Every Item & Every Item in Cart options for manual, percent-off discounts were removed and should have been replaced with an Apply to Subtotal option but they weren’t, leaving users no way to apply manual, percent-off discounts to an entire cart. We are deploying a fix to add the Apply to Subtotal option that should have been included earlier.
In previous posts, we prematurely mentioned an option to Bypass Birthdate Check for Medical Customers and a fix for a bug that prevented the check-in of caregivers for valid minor patients before they were available to all customers. We plan to roll out both to all customers during the week of July 10-14. The option to bypass birthdate checks for medical customers will be available in the Backoffice under Settings > Location > Point of Sale.
