Dutchie POS: Loyalty enrollment insights by location and budtender, exclude segments from campaigns, direct revenue attribution for push campaigns, category-level customer type restrictions in E-Comm menus, fixes
Here’s what’s new and coming soon to Dutchie POS. Subject to change.
Enhancements
Loyalty & Marketing
Loyalty enrollment insights by location and budtender. Get a clearer view of what's driving your loyalty program's growth with expanded reporting in Dutchie Backoffice.
Compare locations: Track monthly loyalty enrollments by location. For larger organizations, the chart highlights the top six locations and groups the rest as "Other."
Recognize top budtenders: View a leaderboard with employee names, in-store enrollment totals, and associated locations. Only POS enrollments count, keeping credit focused on in-store sign-ups.
Understand enrollment sources: See monthly enrollments broken down by source, including POS, E-commerce, and Payments Hub, in a stacked bar chart.
Focus your analysis: Filter by one or more locations, with selections preserved when you change the date range.
Find these insights under Reports > Marketing > Overview > Total Loyalty Members to guide staff coaching, recognize strong performance, and focus marketing efforts. Learn more in the Help Center.
Fine-tune who receives your marketing messages with segment exclusions. Exclude specific customer segments in the campaign builder instead of creating extra segments or adding complex audience rules.
Choose who to exclude: Select Exclude audiences to keep customers in certain segments from receiving the campaign.
See your adjusted audience size: Estimated recipient counts update as you select exclusions, helping you review your reach before sending.
Keep campaigns relevant: Reach your intended audience while avoiding unnecessary messages to other customer groups.
To get started, go to Marketing > Campaigns, create or edit a campaign, and choose Exclude audiences in the General section of the Build content step.
Clearer revenue reporting for push campaigns. Direct revenue attribution connects push campaigns to mobile app orders, helping you measure performance and compare results across marketing channels.
Track direct orders and revenue: View purchases attributed to push notifications for one-time, automated, and workflow campaigns.
See the full picture: Direct push orders and revenue appear in both Push and All Channels totals, alongside existing engagement and indirect revenue reporting.
Reduce duplicate indirect attribution: For single-channel campaigns, indirect sales are credited to the most recent qualifying message rather than counted across multiple messages.
Direct push attribution applies when a customer opens the app from a notification and completes an order during that app session. Push reporting includes opens, orders, and revenue; cart and abandoned-cart metrics are not included.
Dutchie E-Commerce integration
Category-level customer type restrictions configured in Dutchie POS will carry over to your Dutchie E-Commerce menus, helping ensure shoppers see only the product categories available to their customer type.
Split menus: Categories restricted to medical or recreational customers will appear only on the matching menu.
Non-split menus: Category visibility will reflect the shopper's logged-in customer type.
This update supports both category-level restrictions and product/catalog-level customer type assignments, and is slated to launch on or around October 22.
Reporting
Report dates restored in Inventory Snapshot exports. The first three rows in Inventory Snapshot exports will display:
Export Date: The date and time the export was generated.
From Date: The start date and time of the selected reporting period.
To Date: The end date and time of the selected reporting period.
These details make it easier to identify when a report was generated and which period it covers, supporting recordkeeping and audit reviews. Report column headers will begin on row 4.
Marketing
We're adding a Reports link directly inside the Marketing sidebar section to make marketing-related reports easier to access. These reports will also remain accessible from their current locations under Reports > Marketing.
The Segments Overview tab will now default to showing all customer types across all locations, instead of defaulting to the current location filter and only that location's customer types.
Inventory & Catalog
Users can now upload documents (e.g., invoices, manifests) when receiving inventory, visible later from Receive History and via the Public API.
We're adding multiselect checkboxes to the Categories and Brands tables, so you can bulk-assign or bulk-update multiple categories or brands at once (e.g., assigning a missing Tax Category to several product categories in one action) instead of editing them one at a time.
New fields for invoice due date and payment terms fields will be added to inventory receives, persisting through saved, synchronous, and asynchronous receive flows and visible in Receive History. Editing these after the fact will be restricted to the Administrator permission.
We’ve increased the character limit for inventory adjustment reasons from 160 to 1,000.
Fixes
We're releasing fixes for the following issues:
Inventory-level price changes didn't reflect at Register until the product's catalog entry was resaved.
The Inventory Audit page could show a generic "Something went wrong" error instead of loading.
Selling bulk concentrate at Register didn't deduct from inventory or count against purchase allotment limits.
Exporting the Inventory Order Report didn't use your saved column configuration, and some columns had inconsistent capitalization in the export.
A product's Medical price could continue showing a stale value after a tax category change, even though the configuration was correct, until the price field was manually deleted and re-entered.
During a non-blind inventory audit, confirmed packages could intermittently revert to the Uncounted tab after a refresh.
A transaction note could carry over and appear on a different customer's order.
A lower-value discount could be applied instead of the best eligible discount for a cart.
The Inventory Snapshot report could show inflated counts for products with a "Back-Dated Receive Added to Snapshot" line that didn't correspond to an actual backdated receive.
For locations on New Mexico's state compliance integration, a medical patient's allotment could be deducted twice for the same sale — once from the state's own updated balance and again locally — causing receipts and allotment records to show roughly double the correct amount pulled.
A newly provisioned register could start with an invalid inactivity threshold, immediately showing customers a non-dismissible "you'll be logged out in 60 seconds" warning at first login.
Importing lab results via Confident Cannabis could drop the entire potency panel (while terpenes still populated normally) when a location or category's cannabinoid unit of measure was set to milligrams or mg-per-serving and the lab report only provided potency in percent or mg/g.
Scanning any customer ID (including driver's licenses) was writing the image to the MMJ ID photo field instead of the standard ID field, and repeat scans duplicated images there instead of replacing them. Staff also couldn't delete images from the MMJ ID photo field.
Creating a customer segment using the Order Source attribute and saving it returned an error instead of saving.
