Inventory audits

We're launching a redesigned inventory auditing tool to provide an easier, faster, more efficient inventory auditing experience that reduces clicks by 50% and introduces new capabilities and features, including:

• Added flexibility when selecting items to audit. Select single or multiple brands, rooms, categories, a combination of the three, or select individual items.

  

• Counted and Uncounted tabs help you keep track of which quantities you’ve already confirmed.

  

• A new Advanced workflow features a manager review and approval step before submitting adjustments.

  

• Individual adjustment reasons and notes for each package.

• Alerts for mid-audit quantity changes and safeguards to prevent negative quantities.

  

• View package and transaction history, move packages between rooms, and add or remove packages from an audit without leaving the audit screen.

  

• New status indicators for each audit.

  

• Design changes to better support auditing with a tablet/iPad.

Fixes

• The Dutchie POS Public API will return more informative, actionable error messages for JSON formatting issues.

• Last week, we announced a fix for errors that may prevent users from deleting a room with thousands of packages and moving the packages to another room. This version addresses additional errors we discovered while implementing the previous fix.
