Projected release dates: 2/20/24-2/23/24, unless otherwise noted. Subject to change.

Enhancements

Register - Cart

Stacking options and automatic recalculation for all discounts. We’re rolling out the following changes to better automate discount application and efficiently determine the best possible discount for the customer:

Automatic recalculation:

  • Any time an item is added or the quantity of an item is changed, the cart will automatically recalculate and reevaluate the best possible discount combination among automatic and already-applied manual, code, or loyalty discounts.

  • This will eliminate the need to remove and manually reapply discounts to force a recalculation.

  • Manual, code, and loyalty discounts will still be automatically removed when an item or quantity change renders them ineligible.

  • Automatic discounts that a user removed will no longer reapply when a code or manual discount is applied. Removed automatic discounts will still reapply if an item or quantity change renders them eligible.

Updated stacking behavior and options:

  • The option to make a discount stackable or non-stackable will be added to all discount types. This is currently only available for automatic discounts.

  • Existing manual, code, and loyalty discounts will be stackable by default. This matches the existing behavior.

  • Automatic, non-stackable discounts will compete against other non-stackable discounts to apply.

Discount Sync enhancements

Over the next 2 weeks, customers with Discount Sync V2 will get the following new features:

A new Available on Ecommerce tab on the Discounts page in the Backoffice will show only discounts that are synced with Dutchie Ecommerce.

Within this tab, a Reorder option will allow you to click and drag to change the order in which discounts appear in Ecommerce.

All discounts set to Available online will have a new Customize menu design option under the ellipsis menu that will allow you to change and preview a discount’s Ecommerce display name, description, and image, all without leaving the Backoffice.

Discount Sync V2 will also be rolled out to additional customers starting today, February 15. On top of the upcoming features described above, Discount Sync V2 includes:

  • Syncing for any discounts with thresholds, bundles, and most types of restrictions, constraints, and rewards.

  • Support for split medical and recreational menus.

  • Newly improved category, brand, product, and weight mapping that leverages Dutchie POS metadata to more effectively showcase products included in sales and offers.

Backoffice - Settings

Separate session timeout for Backoffice and Register: Currently, session timeouts apply to both the Backoffice and Register. This release adds the option to configure different session timeout thresholds for the Backoffice and Register. If you’ve already set a session timeout threshold, the same threshold will be used for both by default. This feature was previously announced in September 2023 but its release has been delayed.

Register - Log in

This release includes visual updates to the Register log-in, Register selection, and company/location selection screens. Edit: this update has been delayed and is now slated for version 1.92 in mid-March.

Fixes

Backoffice - Inventory

  • In the Package history window, the Inventory ID is displayed but is incorrectly labeled as Package ID. This release corrects the label to “Inventory ID”.

  • On the Inventory list, after selecting Rooms > Hide empty rooms there is no way to view empty rooms again other than refreshing the page. This release addresses this by adding a Show all rooms option.

Register - Cart

  • When multiple pre-orders for the same customer exist, selecting Notify for one order triggers a customer notification for all orders. This release fixes this issue so the notification is only sent for the order for which the user selected Notify.

  • When adding a manual price-to-amount discount to an item that already has an automatic, non-stacking discount, the price-to-amount discount does not apply the full amount. This version includes a fix to address this.

Backoffice - Cultivation

This release resolves a timeout error that prevents users from posting plants to inventory from Cultivation.

BioTrack - Florida update

Florida: Dutchie has been working diligently with BioTrack to ensure a successful rollout of our Florida BioTrack integration, and we are making significant headway.

We are prepared for this integration and are ready to support you. However, as this is a significant change that directly coincides with 4/20 timelines, we recommend that you consider filing for an extension. Filing an extension will facilitate the operational transition and allow for a more advantageous timeline.

To request an extension of the integration deadlines, an MMTC must submit a written request to the department via email to ommu_seedtosale@flhealth.gov.

BioTrack - Report Discounted Prices setting

This is a courtesy notice to inform users in BioTrack markets that there is a setting in the Backoffice called Report Discounted Prices. When enabled the net discounted price of products will be reported to BioTrack when discounts are applied. When not enabled, the gross price will be reported to BioTrack even if discounts were applied. Find this setting in the Backoffice under Settings > Integrations > BioTrack > Settings > Report Discounted Prices.
