Projected release dates: 9/25/23-9/29/23

Enhancements

Register - Guests

Identify banned customers more easily: Customers that you’ve marked as banned in Dutchie POS are now more clearly identified with red Banned customer badges on the customer profile, guest list, and cart views. Visit the Help Center to learn more.

Register - Cart

Open the cash drawer from the payment screen: We’re adding an Open cash drawer button to the payment screen in the cart to give you a more convenient option for manually opening the drawer. This will always require a manager PIN and will appear on cash transactions and on debit and split-tender transactions if change or cash back is due.

Backoffice - Customers

Delete Doctors: Users with the Edit Doctors permission will now also have the ability to delete doctors either individually or in bulk.

Backoffice - Inventory

Reminder: A better user experience is coming soon to the Inventory module!

Throughout September and October, we're rolling out the following enhancements:

  • When Show products with zero quantity is enabled, the list will load in seconds (not minutes)!

  • The Select all option will be removed because this selected all items in the list, not just the current page. You’ll still be able to select all items on the page, select a quantity of rows, and change the number of items per page.

  • The More filters modal will no longer have a Save button; instead, you can just select your filters and close the modal.

  • The Testing status filter will be removed; instead, type the status name into the search bar to find matching products.

  • All filters will support multiple selections and include all options, not just the options in the list.

  • Applied filters will be reflected in the URL, allowing you to share a direct link to your customized view.

Note: To further improve performance and stability; sorting by these columns is not currently available:

  • THC

  • Tags

  • THCA

  • Allocated Qty

  • Last Audited Date

Inventory audit enhancements: To better support dispensaries not integrated with a traceability system, the Inventory audit detail page will allow the grouping of inventory by Brand and Vendor instead of Package ID.

Backoffice - Cultivation

When recording trim weights for multiple plants, a new Set total weight field will allow you to enter the total trim weight for all plants and automatically distribute that weight evenly among individual plants. You will still have the option to enter individual trim weights for each plant.

Backoffice - Reports

Updated user interface, descriptions, and permissions for Backoffice reports

A few weeks ago, we began rolling out to select customers the following improvements to make reports easier to navigate and understand while also enhancing user access controls:

  • Reducing the number of reporting categories from 17 to 7.

  • Reports will be displayed in a table view similar to other areas of the Backoffice.

  • New and improved tooltip descriptions for individual reports.

  • New Type column for areas of reporting that have multiple types of reports.

  • Select your favorite reports by clicking the heart icon. These reports will appear on the Reports Overview page for quick access.

  • A back button will be added to individual report views.

  • New user permissions settings will give admins the ability to control which users can view which reporting categories.

These improvements will be released to additional customers beginning September 21.

Fixes

Register - Guest List

Users of the Dutchie Register web application reported that pressing the space bar while viewing the guest list automatically checked in a random customer. This version includes a fix to address this issue.

Register - Cart

At locations where users are required to verify the last 4 digits of an item’s package ID before removing the item from a cart, a visual bug appears to prevent users from removing items unless they clear the cart or update the item’s quantity to zero. This version includes a fix to address this issue.

Backoffice - Discounts

We’re releasing a fix to ensure discounts restricted to a particular pricing tier correctly account for a product’s location-specific pricing tier assignment.

Backoffice - Registers

On the Registers > Overview page in the Backoffice, the Selected daily totals section shows all zeros. When a date is selected, that day’s sales details are appended below, requiring users to scroll down. This fix restores the behavior of the selected day’s sales details populating in the intended position at the top.
