Dutchie POS 1.164: Curbside URL change; option to round change down to nearest nickel; inventory adjustment updates
Projected release dates: 10/27/25-10/30/25. Subject to change.
Enhancements
Curbside
We’re deprecating the Curbside checkout URL ([your server name].pos.dutchie.com/curbside) and automatically redirecting it to Mobile Checkout ([your server name].mobile-checkout.dutchie.com).
The Mobile Checkout experience is very similar to Curbside, with two key differences:
While Curbside shows any order with items in the cart, Mobile Checkout shows only orders assigned to your device or orders not assigned to any register. If you don’t see the order you’re looking for in Mobile Checkout, you may need to Release the order from the main register.
Mobile Checkout has optional features that allow users to add or remove items from a cart. Contact Dutchie Support if you would like to have these enabled for your location.
If your organization uses Single Sign-On (SSO) to authenticate users, make sure the Mobile Checkout URL is included in your SSO provider's list of authorized redirect URIs, callback URLs, or allowed domains (the exact field name varies by provider).
Settings
To address penny shortage concerns, we’re adding a new Round Down Change Due To Nickel option in Settings > Location. With this setting enabled, if a customer’s change due is $0.89, for example, the Register will round change due down to $0.85.
Rounded amounts will be shown in the Register and on receipts. Total amounts rounded down will appear in the Closing report as Cash Returned Rounded.
If your Registers are currently configured to round change to the nearest nickel (either up or down) and you instead want them to always round down, contact Dutchie Support to have your settings updated.
Compliance
Florida: Lab results fetched from BioTrack will now include the URL for the package’s Certificate of Analysis (if provided) in the Lab result URL field on the Lab results page.
Updates
In inventory audits, users can submit adjustments without selecting an Adjustment Reason; however, these adjustments cannot be successfully submitted to Metrc without an Adjustment Reason. This release includes a fix to ensure an audit cannot be completed in Dutchie POS if Adjustment Reasons are missing.
The Location Setting Require Reason For Adjustments now only makes the Reason note field required when adjusting individual packages, not when conducting inventory audits. We plan to restore this functionality for audits in a future release.
