Dutchie POS 1.158: ‘Has email’ criterion for customer segments; purchase limits based on days supply; MS NDC number updates; fixes
Projected release dates: 9/15/25-9/18/25. Subject to change.
Enhancements
Customer Segments
A new Has email (yes/no) criterion in customer segments will provide the ability to create specific segments for different marketing channels and know the exact number of emails you could potentially send to a given segment.
Compliance
We’re introducing an option to configure purchase limits based on a Days Supply value. States that require PMP reporting commonly use a Days Supply measure, but this is particularly helpful in Ohio, where Days Supply is attached to a defined weight.
To configure a purchase limit based on days instead of grams:
Make sure all cannabis products in your catalog have the correct Days supply value entered.
Go to Settings > Location, scroll to the Point of Sale section, and enable Medical Customers Get Days Supply-based Purchase Limits.
Reconfigure your medical purchase limits in Settings > Taxes & compliance > Purchase limits. When a medical customer type is selected, the purchase limit's unit of measure changes from grams to days.
Allotments in the Register will then reflect “days remaining” instead of “grams remaining.”
Mississippi: We’ve updated the Regulatory category options to include the following options, which also correspond to updated NDC numbers:
Cannabis Concentrate - 67660000005
Cannabis Edible - 67660000006
Cannabis Smoked - 67660000007
When one of these categories is selected, Dutchie POS will use the corresponding NDC number for PMP reporting, overriding any entry in the separate NDC field. This allows you to update your product categories to use one of the above regulatory categories and report all associated products with the new NDC number instead of updating NDCs for each individual product. Learn more about regulatory categories and NDC numbers in the Help Center.
Fixes
This release includes fixes for the following issues:
Removing an item from a cart that includes a coupon may result in incorrect loyalty point calculations.
When confirming inventory audit counts, items sometimes fail to move to the Counted tab despite being saved in the database, requiring users to manually refresh the page to see items correctly reflected as counted.
Mississippi: The Register blocks sales for patients with no flower allotment, even if they do have a valid allotment for other product types.
