Dutchie POS 1.142: New customer segment options; compliance updates; fixes
Projected release dates: 5/19/25-5/23/25. Subject to change.
Enhancements
Segments
A new “Has ever bought brands” criterion for customer segments will allow you to target customers who have ever purchased a particular brand. Also, “Most commonly bought brands” and “Most commonly bought categories” will gain time frame options to capture purchasing behavior over a specific time frame, such as “past week” or “past month.”
Compliance
In addition to checking for on-hold packages and preventing users from selling from them, the Metrc integration will now also check for and block sales of recalled packages.
Products > Manifests will include new columns for BioTrack status and BioTrack ID to give inventory managers better visibility into BioTrack manifest data in the Backoffice.
Connecticut: To comply with state regulations, we’re adding an Is refundable (Yes/No) option to tax configurations. When viewing transaction details, non-refundable tax amounts will be noted on a separate line and automatically deducted from the refund amount when an item is returned.
Washington: A new CCRS Tax Summary Report consolidates cannabis sales data into a format that directly aligns with the LIQ-1295 tax form, with particular focus on accurately identifying tax-exempt medical sales and DoH-approved products.
Fixes
This release will address the following issues:
Register > Transactions > By register may show transactions under the incorrect register.
After applying and removing a manual loyalty discount, cart totals may not correctly recalculate.
Medical customers may be undercharged if a location does not use dual med/rec pricing but is configured to use the same base price for med and rec.
This release adds a validation to check if reported waste exceeds the total quantity of inputs when executing an assembly.
Florida: Users report being unable to receive delivery devices unless they select Bypass state system, which shouldn’t be required.
