      Enhancements

      Loyalty + Marketing

      Revamped loyalty program configuration page

The Marketing > Loyalty page in the Back Office is getting a more user-friendly design and helpful tooltips. This new design also adds new features, including:

      • Loyalty membership tiers that allow customers to accrue more points based on their total spending or points earned. Note that this feature will only be available for locations that have upgraded to our Loyalty and Marketing suite.

      • Specify whether loyalty can be redeemed against the pre-tax or post-tax transaction total.

      • Learn more in the Help Center.

This release also adds several other highly anticipated enhancements exclusively for locations that have upgraded to our Loyalty and Marketing suite:

      Loyalty point multipliers

Reward your loyalty program members and incentivize enrollment with promotions like double points for shopping on a specific day of the week or for purchasing products that meet certain criteria.

To set up a loyalty point multiplier:

      1. Create a new discount.

      2. Configure conditions and requirements just like an automatic discount.

      3. When you get to the Discount method dropdown, select Loyalty multiplier.

      4. Enter a Multiplier value (i.e., 2 = double points, 3 = triple points, etc.)

Loyalty multipliers are applied in the cart like an automatic discount, except that customers get additional loyalty points instead of a discount.

      Automated email campaigns

Create ongoing campaigns based on automatic triggers, such as customers with an upcoming birthday, new customers, or customers who recently made a purchase. Learn more in the Help Center, and look for more triggers and attributes in future releases.

      Additional campaign enhancements

      • An estimated number of recipients will now be shown before finalizing a campaign. This information can be especially helpful when you’re getting started with email marketing and want to start small before gradually increasing the volume of emails you send. Learn more about "warming up” your email IP address and other best practices for building a good reputation as an email marketer.

      • When viewing a sent or active campaign, a new Content tab displays the email content so you can reference what you sent.

      Reports

      • We’re adding the Closing report to the available options for scheduled email reports.

      • A Brand column will be added to the Discount Detail Report and the Detailed Sales Breakdown by Product.

      Metrc

      • A new Metrc setting allows you to automatically import expiration dates from Metrc and specify whether to use the lab result or package expiration date. Go to Settings > Integrations > Metrc > Settings tab and select one of the following options from the Transfer Expiration Date dropdown:

        • One year from current date = don't import Metrc expiration dates and instead autopopulate an expiration date one year from the inventory receiving date.

        • Expiration Date = import package-level expiration dates from Metrc.

        • Lab Test Result Expiration Date = import labs results-level expiration dates from Metrc.

      • Louisiana operators will be able to configure default values for the Edit allotment screen in the Register. In Settings > Integrations > Metrc > Settings tab, when Maintain Patient Allotment is enabled, three additional settings will appear below:

        • Default Recommended Plants

        • Default Smokeable Quantity

        • Default Flower Ounces Allowed

        • The default values you enter here will automatically populate in the Register when you view or edit a patient allotment. You can edit the defaults as needed for specific patients.

      • This release will disable and hide the Alaska-specific Metrc setting Use Package Based Potency for all locations outside of Alaska.

      BioTrack

      • The Dutchie Register does not currently validate when processing a return whether the package(s) exist in the facility’s BioTrack inventory. This release adds this missing validation step and adds a warning: “You are attempting to return product that is not associated to inventory currently at this location. Please return product at the same location purchased.”

      • We’re updating our BioTrack API to better support cultivation operations in tracking the conversion of plants to inventory. These updates will allow cultivation managers to:

        • Select one or multiple plants using the bulk actions feature

        • Automatically transfer plant barcodes to new inventory items

        • Sync plant conversions with BioTrack

      • This release also adds a safeguard to prevent BioTrack locations from adding inventory to a manifest if it has already been added to another pending manifest. Users should always split inventory into a new package before adding it to a manifest.

      Washington CCRS

Beginning April 27, automated CCRS uploads will switch to a new daily schedule, replacing the current schedule, where all files are uploaded each Sunday and Thursday. The new upload schedule will be:

      • Sunday: Group 1 files

      • Monday: Group 2 files

      • Tuesday: Group 3 files

      • Wednesday: Monitoring; no uploads

      • Thursday: Group 1 files

      • Friday: Group 2 files

      • Saturday: Group 3 files

      This change is intended to:

      • Ensure that CCRS processes reports in the correct sequential order and that each upload is completed and accepted by CCRS before the next upload.

      • Reduce the likelihood of reporting errors or compliance issues.

This release also includes an update to ensure that data inserts occur before data updates, reducing “invalid external identifier” errors when an update to a given item is uploaded before the item itself has been uploaded.

      Fixes

      • The Manager Discount Report shows a 12:00 a.m. timestamp for all discounted transactions. This release includes a fix to show the accurate time of day.

      • This release also fixes an issue in our beta Discount Wizard where image previews don’t load properly in the discount summary.
