Dutchie POS 1.136: Unified cart calculations with Dutchie Ecommerce; improved discount stacking logic; fixes
Projected release dates: 3/24/25-3/28/25. Subject to change.
Enhancements
Unified cart calculations between Dutchie Ecommerce and Dutchie POS
Next week, Dutchie will begin rolling out a series of updates designed to unify cart calculations and ensure that Dutchie Ecommerce and Dutchie POS always reflect the same cart total for online orders. Visit the Help Center to learn more about these updates and how they will support a better experience for consumers and dispensary employees alike.
Discounts
Updated stacking logic will introduce key improvements in how automatic and user-applied discounts interact:
Carts will not recalculate automatic discounts when a stacking user-applied discount is added, preventing the reapplication of removed discounts.
The best non-stacking discount will apply first.
If a manual non-stacking discount is added, it will only apply if it is better than any automatic non-stacking discount already applied.
Automatic stacking discounts apply in this order:
Price to amount
Percent off
Amount off
User-applied stacking discounts (loyalty, manual, code, etc.) apply in the order added.
Loyalty rewards will always be fully honored.
Backoffice - Inventory
In Products > Inventory, these dropdown menu options will be alphabetized to streamline browsing and selecting:
Rooms and Subrooms (when moving inventory)
Inventory Statuses (when assigning or changing status)
Compliance
We’re adding an option to void unreconciled transactions in the BioTrack receipt audit. Select one or more “BioTrack unreconciled” transactions, then Bulk actions > Void BioTrack Receipts.
Fixes
This release includes fixes for the following issues:
Brand names within product listings may be cut off when searching for products in the Register.
Errors and timeouts occur when loading the BioTrack Destruction Manager.
This release will update the lab results retrieval behavior to respect previously recorded lab results on a batch. Users will still be able to fetch labs results if needed.
A previous update that added a Brand column to the Product Sales report inadvertently also replaced Category data with less-specific Master Category data. This release restores the separate Category and Master Category columns.
