Projected release dates: 9/16/24-9/20/24, unless otherwise noted. Subject to change.

Enhancements

Stacking settings for all discount types

The Discount stacking setting will become available for all discount types instead of just automatic discounts. This means that for the first time, you can exclude non-automatic discounts from stacking, as the current behavior is that non-automatic discounts can always stack. Existing non-automatic discounts will default to Discount stacking = Yes.

Stacking will continue to work the same way, where all stacking discounts compete, and only the best value to the customer will apply.

Sync medical-only and recreational-only discounts to Dutchie Ecommerce

If a discount has no Customer Type restrictions in Dutchie POS, it will continue to appear on both med and rec menus in Dutchie Ecommerce

If a discount does have Customer Type restrictions in Dutchie POS and:

  • Both medical and recreational types are selected, the discount will continue to appear on both menus.

  • One or more medical customer types is selected, but no recreational customer types, the discount will only appear on the med menu.

  • One or more recreational customer types is selected, but no medical customer types, the discount will only appear on the rec menu.

  • Neither medical nor recreational customer types are selected, but others are, such as Distributor or Retailer, the discount will not appear on either menu.

Metrc product image upload for Nevada and New Jersey

Upload required product images to Metrc from Dutchie POS by first going to Settings > Integrations > Metrc > Settings tab and turning on the Sync item approval files/fields setting. This adds the following fields to cannabis product detail pages in the Catalog:

  • Metrc description

  • Metrc finished product images

  • Metrc label images

  • Metrc packaging images

Uploaded images are then automatically sent to Metrc. Note that because Metrc’s API does not support PDF file uploads, any required PDF files, such as SOPs, must still be uploaded directly to Metrc.

Nicknames in cart

Nicknames now appear in parentheses behind a customer’s full name in the cart.

Fixes

This release includes fixes to address the following issues:

  • Incorrect time stamps for completed deliveries were reported to Metrc in time zones other than Eastern Time.

  • The Monthly Inventory by Product report shows unexpected date ranges.

  • When the Enter Last 4 of Package ID feature is enabled, scanning a quantity-based item to add it to a cart does not prompt the user to verify the last four digits of the package ID as expected.

  • Certain inventory field values do not carry over to sublotted packages.

  • Users report being unable to update lab results via the Dutchie POS Public API for products containing beta-caryophyllene.

  • Massachusetts: When attempting to add two different drivers to a delivery, the first driver is sent to Metrc as both Driver 1 and Driver 2, leading a duplicate transporter error.

  • New York: An error prevents running the NY PMP Report for specific dates.
