‘Pay now’ and ‘Pay in-store’ tabs in checkout

Over the next few weeks, we will be rolling out an improved checkout experience to retailers who accept Pay by Bank. Tabbed payment options will make it easier for your customers to navigate payment and complete transactions smoothly.

In the Payment section, customers will see a Pay now tab encouraging them to use Pay by Bank or link a bank account if they haven’t already done so.

A Pay in-store (or Pay on delivery) tab displays the other available payment methods for the selected order type, along with any applicable fees.

Canada only: if you offer credit card payment options, they will also appear under the Pay now tab.

If you don’t offer Pay by Bank for online orders or certain order types

The Pay now tab only appears if you offer Pay by Bank for online orders.

If you offer Pay by Bank only for certain order types, the Pay now tab shows a disabled state when an unsupported order type is selected.
