Dutchie E-Commerce: Block delivery addresses; enable/disable order type modal; settings UX improvements; fixes
Enhancements
Address Block List: Retailers can now block specific delivery addresses from placing future delivery orders. Addresses can be added from Delivery Settings or directly from an order, helping teams prevent repeat deliveries to problematic or restricted locations across an enterprise. Learn how in the Help Center.
Enable Order Type Modal: You can now enable or disable the order type modal from Settings > Store Menu in Dutchie Admin. When enabled, shoppers are prompted to choose whether they are placing a medical or recreational order and whether they are ordering for pickup or delivery (depending on what your dispensary offers) before they begin shopping.
Settings UX improvements: Store Menu, Checkout, and Advanced Options settings pages now feature an easier to browse menu of settings and options organized by subject, with always-visible descriptions of settings instead of tooltips, and searchability. Learn more in the Help Center.
Homepage category tiles on homepage: You can now hide the “Shop by Category” tiles and carousel on your consumer storefront homepage in Settings > Store Menu.
Other available locations on product pages: Product detail pages can now show an optional “Also available at” section for enterprise retailers, helping shoppers find the same in-stock product at other locations in the enterprise and navigate directly to that location’s product page. Enable this feature in Settings > Store Menu.
SEO Optimization Now Always Active for Embedded Menus: The SEO tab has been removed from the E-Commerce Admin settings. Previously, search engine optimization for embedded menus required a per-dispensary toggle to be enabled. This setting is now always on for all stores automatically. No action is needed on your end, and there is no change to how your menu appears to customers or search engines.
Manage users in bulk: We’ve added a bulk management feature to Settings > Users so you can upload and edit users via a CSV instead of managing them individually. Learn more in the Help Center.
Fixes
Kiosk Pro Pay by Bank session protection: Kiosk Pro now ends the shopper session when a customer selects Pay by Bank and scans the QR code. This helps ensure the next customer starts with a clean session and cannot access the previous customer’s order details or personal information.
Admin product description editing fix: Fixed an issue where the cursor could jump or behave unpredictably when editing product descriptions in Dutchie Admin. Retailers can now edit item descriptions with normal keyboard behavior.
Printed menu potency placeholders: Printed menus now hide THC/CBD placeholder text when a product does not have lab data. Real potency values will continue to display where available, while products without data no longer show “THC: --” or “CBD: --”.
Mobile app loyalty PIN verification fix: Fixed an issue that could cause duplicate Alpine IQ loyalty PIN verification texts to be sent from the Dutchie mobile app. Customers should now receive only the expected verification message, reducing confusion and unnecessary SMS activity.
