Projected release dates: 8/31/26-9/3/26. Subject to change.

      Enhancements

      Loyalty & Marketing

      • Campaign history: View a complete history of marketing communications sent to an individual customer. Navigate to a customer profile in either the Backoffice or Register, select History, then Campaigns.

      • Campaign leaderboard: The Loyalty & Marketing dashboard in the Backoffice (Reports > Marketing > Overview) is getting a new view that allows you see which individual campaigns performed the best.

      Register

      • Email receipt improvements: We’re introducing an HTML receipt body that more closely mirrors the appearance of your printed receipts instead of a PDF attachments.

      • Print new items on a pre-order: After adding new items to a pre-order in progress, you can now choose Print > Print new items and print a pick ticket with only the new items to help streamline your fulfillment workflow. This optional feature can be enabled in Settings > Location > Enable new items pick ticket. Learn more in the Help Center.

      • Order received time for deliveries: The Delivery > Routes table in the Register will now display a Received column showing the timestamp of when each order was originally placed by the customer. Dispatchers can use this information to identify aging orders and prioritize route assignments based on how long an order has been waiting. This release also includes table improvements such as sticky headers, proportional column widths, and row hover states for improved readability on high-volume route lists.

      Discounts

More granular permission controls for discounts: We’re expanding discount permissions so admins and managers can fine-tune who can edit specific discount fields. New permissions include:

      • Create Discount

      • Edit Discount Name

      • Edit Discount Application Method

      • Edit Discount Customer Eligibility

      • Edit Discount Date Time

      • Edit Discount Location Eligibility

      • Edit Discount Requirements

      • Edit Discount Rewards

      • Edit Discount Online Details

      Customers

Unlink Dutchie E-Commerce account from a POS customer profile: To under incorrectly-linked profiles, open a customer profile in the Backoffice, scroll to the new eCommerce Account section and click Unlink eCommerce Account.

      Compliance

Rollback local adjustments when upstream fails: To improve data consistency between Dutchie and integrated traceability platforms, we’re introducing safeguards to automatically roll back Dutchie-side inventory adjustments when the traceability platform rejects the adjustment or encounters an error.

      Manufacturing

Manufacturing Assemblies: “Cost” is no longer required to complete an Assembly output, which better aligns with with backend behavior and existing “null cost” patterns.

      Inventory

To improve operational efficiency and intake accuracy, we’re making brand information visible directly within the inventory receiving workflow:

      • Brand Column: A dedicated Brand column in the Items Received table within Inventory > Receive, as well as in historical receiving records.

      • Automated Catalog Resolution: Brand information dynamically populated from the catalog using the product ID across all intake methods, including saved purchase orders, CSV/manifest imports, and manually added packages.

      • Custom Column Behavior: For users with default table layouts, the Brand column appears immediately adjacent to the Product column. Users with previously saved custom column configurations will see the Brand column appended to the end of their table layout; it can be reordered at any time via the table settings gear icon.Receive Package Modal

      • Enhanced Product Search Dropdown: When manually adding packages, the product selection dropdown within the Receive Package modal displays brand metadata in the option header/footer.

      • Format Structure: Search results display comprehensive item identifiers:
SKU: [SKU Number] | Brand: [Brand Name] | Strain: [Strain Name]

      Fees

Dutchie POS now supports Percent of Cost automatic fees, which calculate as a percentage of a product’s wholesale cost instead of its retail price.

This helps dispensaries pass through wholesale-based taxes, such as Michigan’s marijuana wholesale tax, without discounts or price changes reducing the fee amount.

      Key capabilities:

      • Cost-based calculation: Fees use the item’s wholesale cost instead of the current retail price.

      • Discount-proof fees: Discounts do not change the calculated fee.

      • Inventory tag scoping: Use Restrict to or Exclude tags to control which items the fee applies to.

      How to set up:

      1. Navigate to Settings > Fees in the Dutchie POS Back-office.

      2. Select Create Fee (or edit an existing fee record).

      3. Under the Calculation Method dropdown, select Percent of Cost.

      4. Input the desired fee percentage.

      5. (Optional) Under Inventory Tag Restrictions, select either:

        • Restrict to: Applies the fee only to line items matching the specified inventory tags.

        • Exclude: Applies the fee to all line items except those matching the specified inventory tags.

      6. Save and publish the fee configuration.

      Fixes

      • Total Terpenes values in the Current Inventory Lab Results report sort numerically instead of as text.

      • Manual discounts remain available in the discount picker after a customer hits a lifetime redemption cap when cooldown or refresh windows make them eligible again.

      • Register closeouts are not duplicated when closeout submissions happen at the same time, preventing ledger inconsistencies and undo failures.

      • The Registers > Overview export continues to return data, with regression coverage in place to help prevent empty export results from returning.

      • Calculated cost updates correctly as assembly inputs and outputs change.

      • Inventory Snapshot and Roll Forward reports show the correct rooms, quantities, and historical data by properly scoping receive history and package links.

      • Complex segment computation queries complete more reliably by using controlled timeout behavior that reduces persistent query timeouts.

      • Washington: Editing existing strain records, specifically updating attributes such as strain type (e.g., Hybrid to Indica), description, or abbreviation, without also editing the name, resulted in a "Failed to update strains" error and prevented modifications from saving. We're fixing this issue so recommended workarounds to avoid this issue, such as deleting and recreating strain records, will no longer be necessary.
