Dutchie POS: Streamlined NDC management for PMP integration; fixes

Enhancement

We’re adding a new Use catalog NDC when package NDC is empty setting to our PMP integration (Settings > Integrations > PMP > Settings tab) that streamlines NDC management during inventory intake.

When enabled, any package received without an NDC number will automatically inherit the NDC from the product catalog. This is especially useful for states like New York, where most non-flower items maintain a consistent NDC across batches — you no longer need to manually enter the NDC for every package at receiving.

For products where the NDC varies by batch (such as flower), you can still enter a batch-specific NDC at the time of receiving.

Fixes

We’re releasing fixes for the following issues:

• Retired products with no sellable inventory will no longer appear in the Discount Wizard’s eligible product views.

• When processing harvest batches in cultivation, users could encounter a timeout error during the plant weight reporting or harvest update workflow, which could lead to an unrecoverable state — retrying the action would fail with an error, with no way to complete the harvest batch without contacting support. This fix resolves the issue by optimizing how harvest batch data is saved and ensuring the process can be safely retried if an interruption occurs. Users processing large harvest batches should no longer experience timeouts, and any transient failures will now recover gracefully on retry.

• Inventory search terms and shared filters, such as brand, vendor, category, and tags, may not persist when switching between Backoffice locations.

• The product dropdown appears greyed out when clicking the + button to add a new Input or Output within Manufacturing recipe steps.

• Preorder loyalty redemptions may apply incorrectly at checkout when a qualifying reward is selected

• Bulk inventory receives created from CSV, URL, or file uploads will populate the Delivered On date in a format supported across browsers, so the Receive button will enable as expected without requiring users to clear and re-enter the date.
